¼ cup chicken broth (or reserved pasta water)

Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley (for garnish)

Cook the Pasta: Fill a large pot with water, add a generous amount of salt, and bring it to a rolling boil. Add the rotini pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Reserve ¼ cup of the cooking water, then drain the pasta and set it aside.

    Sauté the Chicken: Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil. When the oil is shimmering, add the diced chicken. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix, along with salt and freshly ground pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and has a lovely golden brown color.
