Ingredients

1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey for a lighter option)

1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs (for extra crispiness)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 large egg

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust based on your heat preference)

1/4 cup honey

3 tablespoons Sriracha sauce (adjust for desired spice level)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven:

Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and for easy cleanup.

      Prepare the Meatball Mixture:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef (or turkey), panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Use your hands or a spoon to mix everything together until all ingredients are well incorporated.

          Form the Meatballs:

Take a portion of the mixture and roll it into balls approximately 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter. Place each meatball onto the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart to allow even cooking.

              Bake the Meatballs:

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the meatballs for about 20-25 minutes, or until they are cooked through and have a light golden-brown color on the outside.

                  Prepare the Glaze:

While the meatballs are baking, create the spicy honey glaze. In a small saucepan set over medium heat, combine the honey, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Whisk the mixture gently until it is warm and well blended. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for around 3-5 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.

                      Coat the Meatballs:

Once the meatballs are done baking, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large bowl. Drizzle the spicy honey glaze over the meatballs and gently toss until they are fully coated in the sauce.

                          Serve and Garnish:

Arrange the glazed meatballs on a serving platter. For a finishing touch, sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions over the top. Serve them right away as a tasty appetizer or on a bed of rice or noodles for a hearty main course.
