For the Meatballs:

1 pound ground beef (or a blend of ground beef and pork for added flavor)

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably Italian-style for extra flavor)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (plus extra for garnish)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 large egg

Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

For the Spaghetti:

8 ounces spaghetti

1 1/2 cups marinara sauce (choose store-bought for convenience or homemade for a personal touch)

Salt (for seasoning the pasta water)

For the Sliders:

12 slider buns (soft, mini rolls)

12 slices of mozzarella cheese (or substitute with provolone for a different flavor)

Fresh basil leaves (for a pop of color and flavor)

Extra marinara sauce (for serving alongside)

Instructions

Prepare the Meatballs:

    - In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, egg, along with salt and pepper to your taste. Mix gently until just blended.

      - Roll the mixture into uniform 1-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

        - Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 18-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are golden brown and fully cooked.

          Cook the Spaghetti:

            - While the meatballs are baking, fill a large pot with salted water and bring it to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to the package instructions until it reaches an al dente texture. Drain the spaghetti and set aside.

              Combine Spaghetti with Marinara:

                - In a medium pot over medium heat, add the cooked spaghetti to the marinara sauce. Toss gently until the spaghetti is evenly coated with the sauce and everything is warmed through.

                  Assemble the Sliders:

                    - Carefully slice the slider buns in half horizontally. On the bottom half of each bun, place a generous ladle of the spaghetti mixture, then add a meatball on top, followed by a slice of mozzarella cheese.

                      - Cap the sliders with the top half of the buns.

                        Melt the Cheese:

                          - Arrange the assembled sliders on a baking sheet. For added flavor, you can brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder and additional parsley if desired.

                            - Return to the oven and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is nicely melted and the buns are golden and toasty.

                              Serve:

                                - Remove the sliders from the oven and garnish each with a fresh basil leaf. Serve with extra marinara sauce on the side for dipping to enhance the meal.
