Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (or substitute with ground turkey for a healthier alternative)

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably seasoned)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 large egg, beaten

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/4 cup honey

3 tbsp Sriracha sauce (adjust according to your spice tolerance)

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp rice vinegar

1 tsp sesame oil

Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Start off by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). For easier cleanup, line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.

Prepare the Meatball Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef (or turkey), breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, chopped parsley, beaten egg, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Use your hands or a spatula to gently mix until just combined, being careful to avoid overmixing, which can lead to tough meatballs.

Shape the Meatballs: With slightly damp hands, roll the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter. Arrange them on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring there is space between each meatball for even cooking.

Bake the Meatballs: Slide the baking sheet into the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and have developed a beautiful golden-brown color on the outside.

Create the Glaze: While the meatballs are baking, whisk together the honey, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a small bowl until smooth. Take a moment to taste the glaze, and feel free to adjust the sweetness or spiciness to your liking.

Glaze and Finish Cooking the Meatballs: Once the meatballs are done baking, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large skillet over medium heat. Pour the honey Sriracha glaze over the meatballs and gently toss them to ensure every meatball is evenly coated. Allow them to cook together for an additional 2-3 minutes to let the glaze thicken slightly and adhere to the meatballs.

Serve and Garnish: Once the meatballs are well-glazed, remove the skillet from heat. Serve the honey Sriracha meatballs warm, beautifully garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions for a burst of color and flavor.

                Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 40 minutes | Servings: 4

                  - Presentation Tips: Consider serving the meatballs on a large platter or individual plates, drizzled with any remaining glaze and sprinkled with extra sesame seeds and green onions for added visual appeal. Pair them with rice or noodles, if desired. Enjoy!
