Ingredients

2 ripe bananas, sliced

1 cup ripe mango chunks (fresh or frozen)

1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or your choice of yogurt)

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon lime juice

A pinch of salt

Optional toppings: shredded coconut, granola, chia seeds, or chopped nuts

Instructions

Prep the Fruit: If you are using fresh mango, start by peeling it and cutting it into bite-sized chunks. Slice the bananas and set them aside so they are ready for blending.

Blend the Base: In a blender or food processor, combine the sliced bananas, mango chunks, Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, lime juice, and a pinch of salt. Blend all the ingredients together until you achieve a smooth and creamy texture. If needed, pause occasionally to scrape down the sides of the container, ensuring everything is well mixed.

Taste and Adjust: After blending, taste the mixture to see if the sweetness meets your preference. If you desire a sweeter flavor, add a little more honey or maple syrup and blend briefly to combine.

Fill the Cups: Using a spoon or piping bag, fill silicone cupcake molds or small plastic cups with the yogurt mixture, leaving about 1/4 inch of space at the top to allow for expansion during freezing.

Add Toppings: For extra flavor and texture, sprinkle your choice of optional toppings such as shredded coconut, granola, chia seeds, or chopped nuts over the yogurt mixture before freezing.

Freeze: Carefully place the filled molds or cups in the freezer. Allow them to freeze for a minimum of 4 hours or until they are completely solid.

Serve: To enjoy your frozen yogurt cups, gently remove them from the molds. If they prove difficult to extract, run warm water over the outside of the mold for a few seconds to help loosen them.

Enjoy: Serve the frozen mango banana yogurt cups immediately for a refreshing treat! Alternatively, you can store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for future enjoyment.
