Ingredients

2 ripe bananas

1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

1/3 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Optional toppings: chopped nuts, mini chocolate chips, shredded coconut

Instructions

Prepare the Bananas: Start by peeling the ripe bananas. Slice them into coins that are approximately 1/2-inch thick. Arrange these banana coins in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

Make the Yogurt Mixture: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, caramel sauce, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Stir the mixture thoroughly until it is smooth and all the ingredients are well-blended.

Coat the Banana Slices: Take each banana slice and carefully dip it into the yogurt mixture, making sure it is fully coated on all sides. Once coated, place the yogurt-covered banana slice back onto the lined baking sheet.

Add Toppings: For an extra burst of flavor and texture, feel free to sprinkle the tops of each yogurt-coated banana slice with your choice of optional toppings, such as chopped nuts, mini chocolate chips, or shredded coconut.

Freeze: After all the banana slices are coated and sprinkled with toppings, place the baking sheet in the freezer. Allow the bites to freeze for a minimum of 2-3 hours, or until the yogurt is completely firm to the touch.

Serve: Once frozen, gently remove the bites from the baking sheet. Allow them to sit at room temperature for about a minute to make removal easier. Serve immediately as a delightful snack or dessert. Alternatively, transfer the bites to an airtight container, layering them with parchment paper to prevent sticking. They will keep well in the freezer for up to two weeks.
