2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)

1 cup diced ham (smoked or city ham)

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)

1 cup cream cheese (softened to room temperature)

1 cup milk

1/2 cup chicken broth

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp salt (adjust according to taste)

1 tbsp olive oil (for greasing)

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (for topping)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)

Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish - optional)

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it's hot and ready for baking.

    Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a rapid boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 7-8 minutes. To incorporate the broccoli, add the florets to the pot during the last 2-3 minutes of cooking. Once cooked, drain both the pasta and broccoli, and set aside.

      Prepare the Cheese Sauce: In a spacious mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, milk, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Using a whisk or electric mixer, blend the ingredients until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

        Combine Ingredients: To the cheese sauce, add the cooked pasta, broccoli, diced ham, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Gently stir to coat all the ingredients evenly with the sauce, ensuring every piece is well-covered.
